Supervised Visitation Overview

  • Parents are to submit online intake forms under the "Service; Supervised Visitation" tab for any and all services requested (noncustodial-visiting parent and custodial parents).
  • Both parents are to wait on a confirmation of receipt from The Children Advocate via email. 
  • Parents are then move on to step 2-3,  securing payment for their individual "Initial Consultations" and uploading documentations. Please choose the appropriate booking based on your classification in the case. 
  • Parents will receive an email from info@thechildrensadvocate.com to schedule consultation.
  • Parents will recieve the Supervised Visitation Contract Agreement/Policy for electronic signature.


Yes.  


  • All services require a consultation for both custodial and noncustodial parents when obtaining supervised visitation services. Intake forms are to be submitted first by both parents and receipt confirmed.


Our prices are billed (a la carte), which means it is per individual, per item, per hour. For example, servicing one child has a standard price/per hour and there will be an additional fee for any addition children/per hour. Price list is located on our services page.


At this time, supervised visitation is $55/hr (one child) plus a $45 travel free for travel within a 30 minute one way  (1 hour round trip) rate (from South Fulton, Ga.).  Holiday seasons, Holidays, Holiday Eves, and In-Home Visits are billed at a $90/hr (one child) and $25/hr (additional child). 


Note: We do not transport children. Depended upon the case, supervisors can travel with the visiting parent for pickup, drop off, and to activities. Car travel with parent and child will be decided upon during intake and/or consultation.

We have a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 6 hours serviced per visit. If there are special circumstances, we offer (but not guarantee) emergency visits (processing intake between 3-5 business days for weekend visits) and additional hours for an additional fee. 


We are to 100% uphold the provisions of the court order in conjunction with our supervised visitation guidelines and agreements set forth.  Any violation with either will result in termination of services and/or termination of visitation time for that day.


No. We are a independently-owned service provider, that support parent(s) with children, with or without court orders. 


No. We do not offer a sliding fee option at this time.  For those booking in advance for multiple weeks, we do offer a complimentary discount for weeks that are paid in advance (applied on a individual basis).


This means that the visits will be held out of our offices and in a kid-friendly public location or in-home location (home evaluation and approval needed). Therefore, supervisor will be compensated for their round trip travel to and from visitation site.  Flat rate fee for 1 hour round trip (30 minutes inbound/30 minutes outbound) at $45. Additional minutes will be billed at $45/hour additionally.

All in-home visitation requests are subject to approval after review of intake forms and/or completion of home-evaluation (fee-based). 


Yes. Travel fees are applied per travel occurences for services (visits, home evaluations, in-person consultations).  


At this time, we are able to accommodate off-site visits only.  Parents are allowed to request home or kid-friendly locations to conduct your supervised visit (locations are based upon approval). 


All personal information shared with us, is kept confidential. We communicate with both parties within our Supervised Visitation cases regarding the overall supervision so that limited to no communcation between the two can be requested. We have no authority to legally ensure other parties involved in the case will not contact you. We suggest all clients to seek counsel in such matters as this. 


For all education advocacy, upon hire, we can be given written communication and authorization to speak on your behalf.


Yes. If there is an attorney handling your case, attorney information should be shared along with all other parties connected to the case. All parties will be involved in all communication as it pertains to your supervised visitation agreement, scheduling, and observation reporting. Please update us immediately when there is a change in your case which includes but not limited to attorneys, guardian ad litem, child counselors, etc. 


Yes. There is a supervised visitation observation checklist provided per visit. This checklist monitors the interactions and behaviors demonstrated during the visit. This document is shared with the parents/guardians, attorneys, counselors, and guardian ad litem on your case (if applicable).  Detailed reports can be requested 24 hours prior to the day of visit. This service is provided when there is a need for thorough transcribing of the visit. Detailed reports are billed at $50 per hour up to 2 participants ($25 per additional person/per hour), to the person requested them. Note: Activities are alters and/or an additional supervisor may be hired based on the need for a detailed report.

Potential clients are able to communicate with our offices Monday-Friday between the hours of 9-5pm with a minimum of 2 hours and maximum of 6 hours. Please email us if a request for more hours per day is needed. All communicators should expect a reply within 48 hours. Clients undergoing weekend supervisions or appointments, are allowed to contact during weekend scheduled appointment hours as it relates to your appointment or day of supervision.


Supervisions are held 7 days a week.  



We allow for no less than 2 hours per booking and no more than 6 hours per day.  If less hours are required by court order or requested, clients will be billed for the required 2 hours and served for the time allowed by the courts or parenting agreement. If more hours are needed, a request should be made prior to booking in order to secure an additional advocate for the extended time.

Client fees are paid via Credit Card via GoDaddy website secured links and/or Square Invoiced. 

There are no refunds of any payments or services.  If within the guildlines of our payment agreement, we are able to transfer or reschedule services only.

We give our clients access to our email and chat to obtain answers to questions not found on our FAQ page.  Clients also have the ability to request a 30 minute discovery call. Once the request is made, please wait for a confirmation email and stating your request has been confirmed after payment of your fees. We ask all clients to keep these calls at 30 minutes or less. If you believe your call will need longer, please book a 1-hour phone call/consultation. Thanks.
